Darryl Clark founder of Damp Solutions Australia, a family run business, established  in Kuranda North Queensland in 2000, as a result of having to survive the effects of living in a high rainfall and high humidity rainforest environment of North Queensland. A strong need for climate control dehumidifiers and devices for homes and businesses soon evolved to help solve moisture and mould problems. A major problem when living in the northern tropics or in rainforest surrounds. Damp Solutions Australia was soon established to supply a new and growing market by sourcing the latest products for combating mould and moisture problems.

In 2004 the business was moved to a more central location on the Sunshine Coast Queensland to help service an expanding market for moisture control products Australia wide. Damp Solutions Australia continues to distribute dehumidifiers and moisture control devices to private homes, businesses, art galleries & museums, government establishments, universities, libraries etc, primarily via an information based webshop found at www.dampsolutions.com.au.

In 2008 Damp Solutions moved to a larger enviro friendly premises with warehouse facility in Cooroy Qld just off the Bruce Hwy, providing customers on the Sunshine coast area with a central pickup showroom and delivery point. A convenient 1300353043 number was introduced for interstate customers and business went into top gear!
Our new book "7 Solutions to a Mould Free Home" was launched and gives customers more of an insight into maintaining a mould free home with tips and hints on equipment, enviro cleaning techniques and the use of aromatherapy in the home.

November 2009 completed ACMI accredited Cert. Mould Investigation and Remediation Course, presented by Dr Heiki Neumeister-Kemp of Mycologia Aust P/L, a leading Mould Investigation laboratory and remediation service. Enabling Damp Solutions Aust to further pass on valuable information to customers with mould problems in their homes and environs.

Darryl takes the view that all homes and businesses should have healthy indoor surrounds and be able to support the occupants in a comfortable safe & mould free clean air environment, utilising non polluting products that are environmentally friendly, and have access to climate controlling devices to assist in preventing the harmful effects of mould, allergies, dust mites, condensation and temperature extremes.
